Our little Pixie Party

Wow, I have been a mother for 4 years. We had a wonderful day to celebrate our little Pixie's Birthday. She was just beaming when she walked out of her room and said "Mommy, I'm 4". I asked her what we should eat, "rolled up pancakes" (Swedish pancakes), her favorite. For lunch we went to "Old McDonald's". She always sings Old McDonald Had A Farm . . . funny. She was very excited about everything, it was good to see that there can be so much happiness in one day. Truthfully, a little girl can't not have a few whiny moments specifically when brother takes her new toys from her. Her favorite toy was a little baby that moves her head and arms, so cute!
We had a Tinkerbell Party that we were able to have over little girls. We decorated sugar cookies in the shape of a Princess; foam princess stickers-art, B-day cake, presents and one more thing. We were all gathered together so they could hear me talk about pixies. I told them that every time a new baby laughs a pixie is born. On the movie Captain Hook, Tink was dying and she asked "Pan" to clap his hands, which saved her. I asked all the kids to clap their hands, clap, say "I believe", and WAMMO. We had "Fairy Mary" visit from Pixie Hollow. She was all dressed up and had pixie dust. Each of the children sat on her lap and made a wish. It was so so cute! When our little pixie blew out the candles, she struggled to aim the wind. She had to try lots before the last candle went out. I love Birthdays, it was fun to enjoy each moment.

SNOW

It snowed so much today. I sat in my house at the sink, just watching the snow fall like crazy today. Little buddy thought the tractor that was pushing the snow was so so cool! Jason came home to start the shoveling, he does not only our driveway but usually 7 others! I make him hot chocolate yet he breaks a sweat working so hard. I love hot chocolate. The trick is making whipping cream--beating it yourself YUM!

Our Family Picture

Over Thanksgiving a while ago we took these together. It was so fun to be together that weekend. I love to shop (crap, not good) so we went the day after Christmas to the BLACK FRIDAY. I have to confess I bought 5 pairs of shoes that day. They were all on killer sale, but honestly I tried not to speak of it with Jason. I love shoes! The other confession is how horrible I eat. We make Christmas Candy during Thanksgiving. We make nut balls, fudge, suckers, taffy, yeah I ate lots of everything.

The BIGGEST game in Utah History!

We were at the Walkers this weekend and were crazy to see the Utah- BYU game. Josh, (Jason's brother) changed his shirt specifically for the game, it was a button down RED shirt. Collin (brother n' law) was also for the U'tes. Jodie, Michael, Jason, Jen, G'ma, Garry all for BYU. BYU pride was thick in the room, even the streamers were rooting for the "Y". There was a bunch of yelling for the first half, then we had to travel to a mission reunion (Ivory Coast). Jason was perplexed and could barely handle leaving. Anyways! Till Next Year!

Happy Thanksgiving

So, where are we going to be for Thanksgiving? Oh Yes, right here where we live. I am so excited to eat!!!
Jason's favorite things to eat are turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes.
Guys are so weird, they like to eat food, me, I like the sweet stuff!
I love to dip chocolates with all the girls. The maple fondant is so so yummy! I secretly pop them in my mouth while I roll them! We make them around Thanksgiving so they will last till Christmas (think what you want).
Brighton likes whipping cream--she will have it all over her pointer finger!
Rex loves to drink the cider. Rex also will have his fingers all over the cream!

We're Whispering Tonight!
